Provider-Specific Terms
AcceptDeck Provider-Specific Terms
These terms supplement the standard end-user agreement selected for AcceptDeck for Jira in the Atlassian Marketplace. If these terms conflict with that standard agreement, the order of precedence stated in the standard agreement applies.
1. Provider and App
AcceptDeck for Jira (the “App”) is provided by Samir El Khaout, trading as AcceptDeck, located in Casablanca, Morocco (“Provider”). “Customer” means the person or organization that obtains the App, and “Authorized User” means a person Customer permits to use it.
2. Eligibility and authority
The App is intended for workplace and organizational use. A person accepting these terms for an organization represents that they have authority to bind it. Each user must be legally permitted to use the App and the underlying Atlassian services. The App is not intentionally directed to children.
3. Permitted use
During an active Marketplace license or evaluation, Customer may install and use the App with supported Atlassian Cloud products for its internal business purposes. Customer must comply with applicable law, the Atlassian agreements governing its site, these terms, and the applicable Marketplace agreement.
4. Customer responsibilities
Customer controls which Jira content, attachments, and acceptance criteria are included in an acceptance package and who receives an external review link. Customer must:
- include only information it has the right and lawful basis to process and share;
- review packages before publication and restrict confidential or sensitive material;
- protect review links and their separately shared passwords, choose appropriate expiry periods, and revoke links that are no longer needed;
- manage Jira permissions, users, attachments, records, and retention appropriately; and
- not misuse the App, bypass security controls, probe other tenants, introduce malicious content, or interfere with the service.
5. External reviewers
A holder of a valid external review link and its separately shared password may see the package content deliberately published to that link and may submit an approval or request for changes. Customer is responsible for confirming the reviewer’s identity and authority. The URL itself does not contain a bearer access token; successful password unlock creates a time-limited browser session. Provider does not guarantee that a decision constitutes a legally binding signature or satisfies a particular regulatory or evidentiary standard.
6. Data protection
Our processing is described in the Privacy Policy, Subprocessors page, and Data Processing Information. Customer acts as controller for content it submits to the App and is responsible for instructions, notices, consents, and legal bases. The App does not provide legal, compliance, or records-management advice.
7. Third-party platforms
The App depends on Atlassian Jira, Atlassian Marketplace, Atlassian Forge, and the availability of their APIs and services. The external review interface is delivered through Google Blogger. Those services are governed by their providers’ terms. Provider is not responsible for third-party services or changes outside Provider’s reasonable control.
8. Support and changes
Support is provided under the Support Policy. We may modify the App to improve security, comply with law or platform rules, address third-party changes, or improve functionality. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to prevent harm, investigate misuse, comply with law, or protect the App and its users.
9. Intellectual property and feedback
Provider and its licensors retain all rights in the App, documentation, branding, and related technology. Customer retains its rights in Customer content. Customer grants Provider the limited rights necessary to process that content solely to provide, secure, and support the App. If Customer voluntarily provides feedback, Provider may use it without restriction or obligation, provided it does not identify Customer or disclose Customer confidential information.
10. Fees and termination
Marketplace pricing, trials, subscriptions, renewals, refunds, and taxes are handled under the applicable Atlassian Marketplace terms and listing. Rights to use the App end when the license or evaluation ends. Customer should export or preserve records it requires before uninstalling. Uninstallation may not itself remove all Jira issue properties or Forge-hosted data; deletion requests are described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Warranty and liability
Except for warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded and any express warranty in the applicable standard agreement, the App is provided “as is” and “as available.” Provider does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, preservation of every record, or fitness for a particular legal, regulatory, or approval process. Limitations and exclusions of liability are governed by the standard agreement and applicable law.
12. Governing law
To the extent the standard agreement permits Provider to specify governing law and venue, these terms and disputes concerning the App are governed by the laws of Morocco, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Casablanca, Morocco have exclusive jurisdiction. Mandatory rights and jurisdiction rules that cannot be waived remain unaffected.
13. Contact
Questions about these terms may be sent to contact@acceptdeck.com. Legal notices must identify the Customer, relevant Atlassian site, and nature of the notice.
